After watching the Video, Assistive Technologies for Vision and Hearing Impaired Children, I learned the benefits of using Assistive technologies in the classroom for children with sensory impairments, and a motivational tool for teachers to use =assistive technologies in their classroom. After watching the Video, The Mountbatten, I learned that is being used by the blind and visually impaired students at the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind in St. Augustine, Florida. After watching the Video Ipad Usage for the Blind,Wesley Majerus is the Access Specialist for the National Federation for the Blind and shows us during the iPad meetup how blind people use this device.

I think it is so cool that student who are deaf and blind can use devices to help them to communicate with students who are not. I think it allows them to feel like they are just like everyone else.
