Blog Post 6

Watching the videos about PLN, I have learned new things. Social networks has lot of things people share like ideas, opinions, and knowledge. There are multiple ways PLN's can be useful to me, as a teacher. Facebook, Twitter, Blogs, and Pintrest are all some social networks that teachers can use to get ideas into the classroom. Just about everyone in the world has at least one social network they use often or a lot.

  1. Tamarcus you have a very wide topic. Who have you included in your PLN? If you are on Twitter, who are you following and what is their specialty? Are you using Symbaloo or another organizer to keep track of those included in your PLN? The idea of a PLN is completely new to me also, but I agree that most people already have a PLN only they never called it by that name. We all have certain people we learn from or go to when we need advice. Next time, include a picture of who you have included in your PLN or at least a snap shot of how you organize it all. It would be a great tool to help you keep track of football info. A PLN isn't just for the teaching community. They help sort and organize all areas of life because most people have more than one area of interest. I'd love to see your fantasy football PLN. Would that be a topic you could get excited about?

  2. This post is extremely brief. You did not include any links to the sources you used for this post. You also didn't tell us how you personally plan to build up, organize, and keep track of your PLN.
