What question do we ask? How do we ask the question? Asking questions is the key aspect of a teacher's interaction with their student. This is a good way for teachers to check their students work and see if they get a full understanding of what is going on in class. Another good strategy for asking questions is to make sure you have time aside to answer individual questions for students in class. Using these strategies will really help students build depth and complexity. Asking questions during discussions will also help students become more interactive in the discussions and help improve their learning skills.

  1. Nice point made that teachers need to make sure to set aside separate time to answer questions... Great idea! I agree that asking questions is a great way to get students more interactive. If the students know that you won't scold them for having a wrong answer, they will likely want to answer questions more often. Keep up the good work!

  2. It's very important to designate time for questions! There's a lot more to questioning, though.
